Rubberneckers is an anthology of short stories by Brendan Howard meditating on life, love, loss, and longing. From coming-of-age tales to relationship drama to magical realism to examinations of mortality, these stories will transport you into a world before smartphones and social networks: while the ease of communication is now fundamentally different, our core human emotions have always been just as difficult to navigate.

The stories included in Rubberneckers were composed by Howard throughout his lifetime, starting in his teenage years and continuing for the next two decades. All 21 stories have been newly revised for this collection, marking the first time the majority of these works have been been available in print!
